When I read the title from the main page, it just said "Met Rafer Alston at Hobby . . . " and I thought you met him in a Hobby Lobby. All I could think was "what the hell is Rafer Alston doing at Hobby Lobby."

    Cool story. +1.

Took my daughter to Rockets vs Heat last night. Met my fellow Galveston Ball alum Mike Evans. He's 20 years younger though. He was very courteous and took a pic with my daughter and I.

Felt the same, was a bad move to bring Jameer back when Alston played such a great postseason and everything was in sync.

He was better at street bball than organized pro ball.

Still one of my favorite players when he was around.

Rafer's greatest moment was him slapping Eddie House in back of the head after he'd just gotten J'd. Classic.

Rafer's a cool dude. Met him several years ago (probably late 2010, early 2011) at the Chick Fil-A off Kirby and 59.

Impressed with OP's height, he's gotta be at least 5'11". So he's like 6'3" by clutchfans standards.
