I think it will long-term if it's a reflection on their lack of focus. Championship-level teams usually desire a single-minded focus on being maintaining a quality level of play. Charles Barkley described this in detail about his 1993 Suns and why he thought that was the best team he ever played for.

Hmm, when the BS stinks this bad, it's going to offend a lot of noses. OK, I concede that you made the declaration first. But I submit that my critique of OP's BS, by way of interrogation and parody, more clearly delineated the shape of OP's BS pile. Meanwhile, bmd was even more oblique in his critique, but he was in on the game early too.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank OP for making the board a more jolly and creative place. I look forward to his future attacks on Harden. He was repped for this thread and he deserved it! Funniest thread of the day.

ummm Jordan and Rodman beg to differ, they used to gamble and stay up all night at Casinos before games...do people serious think NBA players sit at home playing video games in anticipation for the next game? lol

Fans don't really see how much energy it takes to play in the NBA. It's ridiculous the amount of exertion these guys go through both mentally and physically. There's a reason why people talk about players "coasting" in the NBA. EVERYONE does it. Hakeem used to say he do it. Jordan did it. Lebron did it. If they wish to party a bit in the midst of the regular season, so be it.

Now if they're still unfocused during the playoffs? Then I'll be concerned.

This must be part of the new treatment his trainers are trying ... LOL

Relax, he can move on his feet as we've witnessed when he played. Only not as effectively as before. hmmm we don't know how he partied when he was healthy :)

WHAAT??? We're ways off from even smelling a playoff run

It's called chilling out and unwinding from hard work. Leisure time actually sharpens one's focus when one gets back to work. When athlete's lives are heavily restricted on game days, practice times-nap times-even their diets once the season is on, they are allowed to have some socializing on their off days/nights.

when I first read this thread, I thought it was you. astro vs apollo...I miss the difference sometimes.

I was saying...well, if apollo33 met Harden then it must be legit. Low and behold...not you

    How? Explain that ignorant logic.

By your 'logic', Harden will be sleeping away his talent by going to bed every night.

I question the collective bball IQ on this forum.

There have been cases of NBA stars getting injured while bowling.
