Start a new thread of pictures of nothing but Sura's hot chicks! That would definitely get me thru the workday.
Cool. But if Sura is our X-Factor, we then suck. No offense, but we just suck. Absoluetly suck, we are banking on our guy with 4 surgeries, coming back after rehab, not playing 15 months to be our X-Factor? I hope you guys are wrong, but if you are indeed right, I wonder who we should get with the #3 pick? I like Durant.
Who said we are banking on it, only that he would be a HUGE help. He is a role player, but his toughness and tenacity matter. DD
You said it. They can matter all they want, but if he isn't our there gutting it out with our players he's serving very little role. As much as I like his play, it's very hard to conclude he'll be any type of impact. Assuming it is one thing, hoping for it is another. It's not a claim, it's a logical conclusion.
DaDa said he was our "X-Factor" which can also mean an "unknown element", or a player who is of unknown quality who - if he pans out - could be a huge boost for the team. That fits Sura. If he were to come back 80-100% healthy (the range in which he played most of the 2005 season) he would be a positive for our offense and huge for the team's toughness and attitude.
If Sura comes back healthy, I don't see anyone better than us. Essentially '04-05 + Shane Battier, Rafer Alston, Kirk Snyder. If he is healthy, I'd like to see us play him as little as possible during the regular season. Let him get his legs back, but, because his injuries are wear/tear type stuff, limit him to 10-15 minutes a game. He can infuse some toughness into the team and still be healthy for the playoffs.
yes, what he said^^ The few that commented that if we are banking on sura, then we suck, calm down. The teams that have production from the bench tend to do well and stay healthy. He could help in that regard. I hope he can.
