yeah, looking back at the pic, AB probably felt awkward and there was a part of me that felt bad for bothering him. but man, as a rockets fan, this is something i can look back on for a lifetime. so i said to myself, the hell with it!
I saw AB at work a few months ago, I went over and shook his hand. I work in a driver license office. Scola took and passed a driver exam in my small, regular cab ford ranger pickup. He drove up in a full sized Suburban, but they wouldn't let him take an exam in it because he didn't have insurance or a license. Apparently car dealerships will let an NBA star player drive a new car off the lot like that, but no one else had better try it. Lowry came in the day he had the news conference, here recently. I never take pictures of the rockets players out of respect for the security guy that accompanies them. If I took out a camera it would tip off the other customers that someone famous was around. So, I don't have pictures, but it did happen.
