Too be fair, Argentina has always been a highly overrated soccer power IMHO, just like Spain. I can really only name 5 Argentinean players that would deserve to be in the top 50 ever. In 86' Maradona completely took over and like Yallmean mentioned... his squad wasn't too good. Spain sucks, the best they've gotten is a 4th place. I'm tired of people even putting them in conversations with the best soccer nations ever. You can win all the Euro Cups you want Spain, you will never dance with the big boys. The deal of watching Italy in the world cup for me is like watching a greedy thief stole a goal, retreat, and defend it w/ all cost. But the Italians are very resilient.
