Chicago is not going to go for that trade with the possibility of picking up Wade in the free agency next year.

    Edit:

Houston: Noah, Beasley, Jones, Wright, Thomas, Hinrich

    Miami: McGrady, Miller, James, Hayes

    Chicago: Scola, Lowry, O'Neal, Cook

I'm under the impression both Miami and Chicago look to dump salary and that Houston is trying get younger and add scoring does this not fit the bill?

    I don't know.

It obviously fits for the Rockets...

Trades have to be accepted by all parties involved..

Miami is not going to give up Beasley and do a O'neal Mcgrady swap, O'neal is playing and is also a 23 mil expiring, if they wanted to trade him they would get better stuff in return and NOT give up Beasley, maybe not even Cook.

I don't think it can be completely crossed out if Houston takes on picks like moves up through the draft i just can't see Houston being able to keep both Scola and Lowry through the other trades so when gearing up for next season you'd lose one of the two in any better deal in the long run, but in the short run was it worth it?

True, but the best they'd could do without giving up expirings would be Beasley+Jones for Camby. It's uncertain what direction they go, but James and Bosh is definately not off their radar and that is what is certain.

Noah? No thanks! I'd rather trade for Anthony Randolph, JaVale McGee or resign Pops! Too bad, Pops Mensah-Bonsu has signed a deal with CSKA Moscow for the remainder of the season ...

Throw in Scola or Lowry? This thread is almost as bad as your log in name.

Scola is one of the top scorers on the starting line up. Him and brooks lead the starters because Hayes and Battier can't score well and Ariza is always on a shooting slump.

Kyle Lowry is probably one of the most valuable player on this team. He leads the bench. He is one of the reasons why the Rockets are so successful this season.

i dont know about do whatever we can, but i agree that noah would be a good addition to what we already have.

everyone is complaining that we need scoring, yet we dont seem to have a problem scoring as of this season. we have a problem on DEFENSE. Noah is a hard worker, plays great D, and can complete if he doesnt have to create his own shot.
people on our squad who can score? AB, Cbud, Andersen, Scolandry, Yao, and Lowry.

all that said, yeah, it'll be a long shot to get noah. we have almost just as much of a chance of getting Rose.

lmao.. I dont think YOU get it.. I did not say we should trade for him, there are people saying they dont want him. Had you read the entire thread you would understand, plus I read some other post claiming they didnt want them in the thread where they first brought Noah up... Do YOU get it?

No. At the moment defense doesn't seem to be the problem. Offense is.

We are ahead of Chicago as the team with most cap space available next season. Noah is really not untouchable and neither is Beasley. Your bound to sqeeze them out in a three team trade i'm telling you. Chicago would trade Noah to Houston because it puts them above us in the pecking order. The hard core truth this season is teams are looking to unload salary and there are fewer teams willing to take on salary. There are more teams looking to dump salary than teams willing to take salary on. Luckly for Houston they are one of the fewer teams willing to take salary on.

I agree with this, actually. And as far as we know the chances of getting Bosh are higher than Noah (which is close to 0% chance).

We shouldn't waste our time contemplating Noah.

Here's an excellent read about the guy. I'm another person who doesn't think we could get him, but would jump at the chance. Anyone interested in finding out more about the guy should give this a gander:
