    I was feeling like taking the risk until you guys all talked me out of it. The only thing I ever had go wrong on an ML was flattened motor mounts and burnt window washer pumps.

    got a quote in two hours

    One of my professors changes the oil in her benz every 2 years (12,000 miles). I told her it should be a minimum of 1 year or 10,000 miles and she didn't believe me. o_O

    On full synthetic that's not a problem, she just needs to make sure to change her filters. I'm on 12K, haven't had it changed since November of 2014. The head service tech knows I change my filters and said up to 15K is fine in these engines on full synthetic. I only average around 7000 miles a year too.

    Better than what you got before? What type of car?

    Yeah on cars that take synthetic it's anywhere between 12-15K miles. The Mercedes have automatic sensors based on mileage that will pop up telling you that are ready for the change.
