I've seen him in the Galleria. I mean you really can't miss a guy that big and tall with a mug like that....

I hope we get Mengke in as an enforcer to Yao..

You mess with Yao or Tmac we unleash Mengke and his hard fouls on you!

    hahaha

Haha. Even Shaq is afraid of him (after being leveled). ;)

What happened to batteer wasn't he with the Knicks, Did they cut him already?

    if they did
Don't sign him We don't need him another stiff clogging the lane.

Thank you. That's what I expected, but I didn't see the game. If the other team is playing a guy in the 6-9 to 6-10 range, there's no need to trot out Deke.

so if our centers can't keep up with the shorter more mobile powerforwards on teams that don't have centers, isn't it counterintuitive to get a player like bateer?

Maybe we are about to make a trade. Tumbo has looked pretty good so far, maybe he has convinced some teams that he has enough left in the tank to help them out. If so hopefully one of our PF's will go with him in return for a PG or a better fit PF. There are a lot of teams out there that could use a real center.

It's counterintuitive to sign Meke to a NBA team.

If he really does end up signing, then I would have to agree that something weird is going on considering other things that have happened recently.Though I doubt Deke is going anywhere. I think having a player who can just be the enforcer, the bodyguard for Yao would be good. Turn back the clock to when this was a common place. Remember, Kermit Washington (guy who punched Rudy T) was Kareem's enforcer. Otis Smith was kind of like Dream's bodyguard. Someone that causes physical pounding back to those that try to do the same to Yao. It helps that it is someone that Yao is very familiar with.
