Men and women compete head to head. The judging is done by a combination of time and faults for jumping mistakes. This counts as a sport <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/MYxxbXIXkzs&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/MYxxbXIXkzs&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
It can never be, not because it's physically impossible but because less women compete at sports. Most women don't play sports when they were younger. It's like what my professor said. CS is the only major that less and less woman choose (comparing with other engineering majors) because girls don't say "I want to program when I grow up". Even playing video games, men > women. In Starcraft, there has never been a women who could compete against the guys, they even had a women's tournament because it was too difficult. This is a video game. No physical prowess required. It's the fact that less women do these activities than guys.
