I like to shave right after a shower because it's a lot smoother that way. I'm also lucky in that I can get away with only shaving once a week.
That stuff is the bomb. So how do you shower shavers keep the mirror from fogging up? I've tried mirrors that aren't supposed to, but they always do. I like to take hot showers.
i've been using a different brand, but the product is great. my skin tends to get irritated by shaving gels, even the ones they claim are for sensitive skin. but that doesn't happen with shaving oil.
I keep the shaving oil in my travel bag, and it does a great job, but at home I use the old school soap and brush. I rock the beard now, so I just shave my neck and trim my mustache about 3 times per week, and trim up the beard about once per week. Always in the morning, right after the shower.
i never shave. every now and then i'll get a wild hair and pull out my trimmer to rearrange the old face garden.
I wouldn't hate shaving so much if it didn't leave my neck so irritated. I actually shave maybe every other week, the rest of time I use clippers to reduce it to stubble when it gets too long.
All of you shaving 2x per week, what are you, 15? Does your Monday 5 o'clock shadow come in at 5 o'clock the next Thursday? I shave every weekday, and on the weekends if I'm going anywhere nice. It gets pretty scruffy looking if I go a day without shaving.
I shave on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday or Friday usually because it works good around my work schedule. I shave at night right before I go to bed then take a shower. I have grown a beard now too, as others have said it cuts the time of shaving dramatically. Now all I have to shave is my neck, upper lip, and line up the beard on my face. I'm usually done in less than 10 minutes.
What razors are people using? I'm using Gillette Fusion with the 5 blades right now but I don't think I'm getting a very close shave with it. Anybody else using this razor?
in the shower. it doesn't get any better 1x-2x a week when it doesn't matter (most of the time) 2x-3x a week when i have to look clean Sensor Excel. Anything more than 2 blades irritates my skin..
Maybe once every 6 months. It gets a little sensitive for the first few days and I have to walk slowly, but afterwards it's fine.
I, too, don't understand how people can shave in the shower: (1) Rinsing the hair off the blade takes forever in the shower as opposed to submerging it in a sink full of water. (2) Water from the shower rinses off the shaving cream while I'm trying to shave and I have to keep re-applying it.
Have to every morning, and always after I shower so the steam and my skin being soft makes it less painful. Running out of shaving cream, need to fins some of that oil some of yall use.
I once knew a guy who shaved in the shower. He said to use a mirror that actually hooks up to the shower head and has water running through it, preventing it from fogging up. I THINK this is one: http://www.amazon.com/Adagio-Market...3?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1238424988&sr=8-3
