There used to be a weblog from a girl who worked at an "adult" video store. (can't remember where to find it now) She told all kinds of good stories. If you just quietly check out standard issue pr0n and (in the case of video rentals) return it like you found it, then you're great. They will love you. There are all kinds of pervs, some of which will: -Stand and stare at the covers for hours or even attempt to use them for... well, you get the idea. The store has hidden cameras, so it's not a good plan. -Start out with renting the normal stuff, but over time they try stranger and stranger things. OR you just know what somebody's fetish is because that's all they ever buy. That can be embarrassing. -Take out the video as soon as they're "finished", without wiping off their hands first, and turn it back in to the store in that condition. The store clerks have to wear gloves. Some customers are even known as repeat "lube offenders". -Assume the girl at the checkout counter is also for sale. So, if you're just quietly going about your business, it's not so bad by comparison... of course, think about some of the people you'll be in the company of. I guess people could always see your car parked outside... which is why most of these stores have parking lots around the corner in the back.
I may be the only one, but I think the audio from pr0n videos actually does more for me than the visual.....
same on both counts. i d/l whatever clips i need from kazaalite and have one free site i frequent b/c it doesn't have any popups. in fact, i can't even remember going to another site in years just to not deal with the possible hassle of popups. and i don't really have all that much on my computer. i had a friend IM me one time and say his computer just completely crashed and said he lost 40 gigs of pr0n. i damn near fell out of my chair when i saw that number. i was like did you just go to the internet and select "download all" or something. and i don't think i could walk into the store. not sure why, but that's how i am. and who wants plots? they just get in the way of the reason you're watching.
I mostly get mine from newsgroups now. For a while, I just used free sites. Every now and then I'll use Kazaa and download stuff. I find newsgroups work best though. Are there any other good ways of getting free pron out there?
Oh man, don't get me started on Romance novels. A few months ago, I was at the grocery store and they had a wall full of romance novels. Well I was just kind of curious, so I looked at the back cover of a couple of them, to see what they were like. I couldn't believe it, but every other book featured the plot of a marriage of convenience. I was like WTF. This is the year 2005. Bad boy millionaires don't need to marry their virginal secretaries in order to land an inheritance. Romance novel plots are like p*rn facials. They are both completely ludicrous fantasies that are demeaning (to one's intelligence and self-respect, respectively) and have no bearing on reality. (In the interest of full disclosure, yes I do like facials. But I don't like, liking facials.)

I remember this...True Stories of a p*rn Store Clerk, I believe the title was. My favorite story was the one of the repeat customer who was always nice to the clerk, and chatted with her when he came to rent his p*rn movies. He was black and she is white, but she didn't have a problem with that, and was considering dating him were he to ask her (and from the story it seemed like he was working up to it). Then one day he came in and rented a handful of the series, "White chicks and Black dicks". The checkout that time was quite uncomfortable and her interest waned rather quickly. I loved that blog.
