This "foul"? Also Rui Hachimura was scorching hot and the best player on the floor and then got ejected for the softest call.
I didn't say it was a foul, especially by FIBA standards. My point stands that he should not have been that close. Very poor situational judgement by the defender. You're up 4 points and there is only one outcome that allows France to tie the game.
Who was that guy that (sort of) dunked on LeBron? I'll bet you he never forgets that moment. Also it seemed like NBC refused to show the score overlay during the entire 1st quarter.
Royal Ivey has done a stupid good job with Sudan, particularly their team defense. The rotations and positioning look so crisp. Offensively they just lack ball handling outside of Jones, not much you can do to fix that.
Put the second unit in and let’s put it away. They move the ball and play better together on both ends. One of Holiday and White should be on the court every minute
Team USA needs more 2 way super role players like White on these teams. Instead every year they bring all these superfluous scorers.
This is why Derrick White was picked over Jaylen Brown and Jalen Brunson - they're not going to make all of those types of plays they just did the highlight package of. Brown's a good defender but he's not on White's level, and he's not nearly as much of a facilitator/off ball player on offense.
Can we send Durant to 3x3 basketball at the next Olympics? He could be the first 2x basketball gold. Also can dunking and 3 point shooting be an event? Why not? People would love it. Also mixed doubles 2x2.
“I don’t know what is going on. I don’t know why he gets booed all the time,” said Anthony Edwards, expressing the confusion within the team. The source of the animosity traces back to Embiid’s decision to forgo playing for the French national team, despite allegedly promising to do so. When Edwards was informed of this, he couldn’t help but smile. “But you got Wemby and Rudy; why would he play with y’all? Wemby and Rudy, what more do y’all want? You want three 7-footers?” Edwards laughed. Source: BasketNews
Merely a handful, arguably more than a handful in the entire league that also have the championship pedigree.
