Iranians are Middle-Eastern. Most of them of Arabic and live in a mediterranean culture. Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Koreans, etc. do not resemble anything of that culture. Ignorant? Allright who cares what others "Asians" think about others, it doesnt matter what they Think. Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis makeup almost half of Asia's population, and many "asian groups" might not accept them as being asian because they're ignorant. If your country is in the continent of Asia you're Asian, but the term "Asian" doesn't "unite" anyone because there are diverse cultures within each Asian country. Bottom line is countries that are in Asia, those people are considered Asian. Similarly if one is from Egypt or Bostwana, they're African. To say otherwise is ignorant.
