Ask any Grizzlies fan, they'll tell you that their two PGs have been a major disappointment. So bad that certain fans are asking why Steve has not played yet. Obviously Steve isn't in their plans but their two PGs are not set in stone. In fact, there have been rumors of Memphis putting either or both on the trading block.

He could still play, but it sounds like the $30 million buyout from Portland sapped his will power to work at it.

He is only 31....but, it looks increasingly like he is done.

I don't know. Look at Darius Miles. Here is somebody who hasn't seen the court longer than Steve, was extremely overweight and like Steve, much of his game relied on his athleticism. But when Miles was given a chance, he proved he still has game. Now before this whole 18 million fiasco, everyone and their grandmas said Miles was done.

Although after being traded by his home team twice, and being stuck on lottery ridden teams the rest of the time, I'm not sure he still has the fire and passion for the game he once had.

That is the worst excuse I've ever heard, and it is thorougly innacurrate.

Was his will power sapped when he sucked on the Magic? Oh yeah, his will power was sapped by a trade of Cuttino.

Was his will power sapped when he sucked on the Knicks? Oh yeah, his will power was sapped by how bad the team was.

Was his will power sapped when he sucked on his second go with the Rockets? Oh yeah, his will power was sapped by how great Rafer Alston and Aaron Brooks were.

Huh, seems like he just didn't have any will power in the first place.

But those damn ISO plays were fun, weren't they?

I'm not sure he could still play but I agree with you on his will power. Now he doesn't have to put on any pretense and just enjoy life.

If a team allows Francis to play ISO ball just for him when he checks into a game, all of a sudden he's gonna regain the old ISO ball form?
