This is the car my parents gave me. I drove it around until Juicy bought my new car! This car was a P.O.S. When I was given it the soft top had been slashed (the radio had been stolen from it). At some point during our tumultuous relationship the car developed ants and I had to rip the carpet from the floorboard leaving metal flooring, (for they had burrowed into the padding and made homes). It had holes in the bottom. I could take a water hose to the inside and wash the floorboards. No A.C. Had to invest 300.00 into a brand new soft top and a radio. Finally sold the mother sucker for a grand. BTW, that is not a Geo Tracker, but a Suzuki Sidekick. There is a difference, I'm just not sure what that difference is.
Good thing you didn't say the entire nickname. I thought I had to go PP there, for a while. He'll tell you why.
It was more for looks in my case. When you get rims, it looks better if the car is lower. Eibach springs were really popular when I was into this stuff. A camber kit is recommended when you drop it more than roughly 1.5 inches. The Acura TL a spec comes lowered about 1 inch or so from factory. If I'm not mistaken, most Mercedes AMG's have the option to lower suspension built in. Not sure how it works though.. And yes you can do this with any car, truck or SUV.
Aftermarket rims. You usually go bigger than factory rims so there is a decent size space right above the tires.
I drove 1999 Saturn sedan when I was 16. I just recently made my first car purchase and bought a brand new 2010 Camaro  .
1990 Toyota Corolla. Looked exactly like this one. That thing was a workhorse. Never gave me a single problem. /Hot like the red paint
A 1962 Mercury Comet. Yes, the infamous "Vomit Comet," with it's a 2-speed Merc-O-Matic transmission and 170 cubic inch straight-6, with the staggeringly audacious single-barrel Holley carburetor, producing an amazing 101 hp! I was able, just barely and only sometimes, to take a moped off the line and beat them in the quarter mile. It was replaced with a silversmoke gray 1965 Mustang 2+2 fastback, with a red interior and the 289 cubic inch 271 hp V8 and a three speed transmission. My favorite car of all time and a babe magnet. The '65 2+2 Mustang:
Love that car. Have some obsession with ancient, underpowered, almost-hot hatches. My first car was a 2008, gray, Toyota Corolla. Sadly for me, and my family, I got a license and got way into cars (obsess over car blogs, TV shows, magazines) in 2009. As evidenced, clearly, by my choice in 2008. Fiancee had a modded-out Ford Focus that, while a proper hot hatch, was just completely unreliable. She wanted a switch to an automatic transmission. It took her a week to miss the five speed. She's almost considering buying an old Neon or something just to have a manual to tool around with.
Just bought this baby this past weekend. My first car purchase . 304 hp, 0-60 in 6.0, quarter mile in ~13.5. Couldn't concentrate at work. Was actually looking forward to the commute back home .
