Sounds good to me! And if Murph or Bill are under the weather, then Bull can slide right into either slot for a game. I have to say, as nice as Van is, that Bull was just a breath of fresh air, and I was thinking during the broadcast how much more I liked having him work the game than Van.
sometimes its nice to hear from a non-sports fan. My wife likes Calvin, but this weekend (as she looked up from her book) she said "who is THAT guy (Hayes), it makes me miss Van Chanclor" then last night while she looked up from her computer "Wow, I like Bullard, why don't they give the job to him"
i love bull, but vanchan is too funny to listen to, and calvin murphy never deserved to lose that job so he should get it back. how about van, murph and bill growing senile together? that'd be an awesome 3 man team
I dont see the big deal about Bull. Like Van, i think he just stated the obvious last night. Before his dream job showing he would come and do rockets games periodically when Calvin was gone, and he was down right boring. Granted hes improved since then through Dream job and other things, but theres no way he should be given a job above Calvin.
How about we give Murph Van's job and give Bull Coop's job? I'd be happy with that. Ecstatic, actually.
Calvin and Bill was hands down the best broadcast partner in the business. They provided both entertainments and insights to the game, I don't know how could anyone not love them.
Calvin Murphy is my favorite. I want him back. However, if the Rockets will not bring him back I actually thought Big E was the best of those they've used this season. Am I alone in that?
Bullard mutters. When he's not muttering, he's fine. Which is like saying that when Moochie Norris isn't turning the ball over, he's fine. Bring back the orange suits. Bring back the gusto. Bring back the energy. Bring back the love. Bring back the ridiculous paritisanship. Bring back the "Let me show you my ugly face!" Bring back the "FIFTY DOLLARS! TEXAS YOUTH ACADEMY!" Bring back the "That's ridiculous, Bill!!!!!" Bring back the "OH! MY! GOODNESS!" Bring back Calvin.
