Ok attempting to remove the homer glasses who makes a bigger positive impact for the Cavs in a Love/Mozgov trade: Melo or Howard and Ariza In other words which is a better deal for Cleveland?
Seems like a wash tho' for Cleveland, who if they could add someone like Dwight to their big three would become the favorite. Dey stand a chance now if healthy, and with Melo that chance still exists, but what they need to do really is add one more player instead of just exchanging all stars.

Not sure how getting Melo would help Cavs. They would still get owned by Warriors because of Melo and Kyrie's D. And Cavs would be playing 4 on 5 against the Warriors because the Warriors won't bother to guard Tristan, just like they left Tony Allen alone to shoot.
Not necessarily true... Melo and James together could give the Warriors fits because they can play the 3/4 or 4/5 and are skilled enough to exploit the Warriors. Kyrie allows the Cavs to move Melo and James inside if need be. Hypothetically if the Rockets could get Love by giving Howard, Ariza, Bev and any other rotational player (and Rockets take on salary) you do it. The Rockets could rebuild with Harden and Love and capspace. Getting a functional 5 or 1 is easier than in the past.

Yea, but the Warriors have a bunch of guys that are the same size like Barnes, Green, Iggy to switch to guard Melo and James. James averaged over 30 points in the final, but he shot only 39%.
