    the Melo delusion was at peak levels in this thread with posts like “Melo is better than Luc + PJ” and the typical “we win game 7 with Melo” type posts...guys hyping up Melo’s inefficient offense like it’s actually valuable

    11 games in and Melo is already done

    A few years ago it was McHale.

    This year it is Melo.

    I admit I was one of the overly-optimistic ("delusional", in your parlance) posters re: Melo. Not that I thought he'd be great here. I just thought we'd get more out of him than did OKC.

    But fitting a square peg in a round hole wasn't gonna work. When he was on the floor our defense crashed; and being aware of getting him the ball on the other end was hurting the flow.

    Just hope Morey can pull a rabbit out of the hat with Chriss + Knight + picks or whatever the plan is.
