I will agree with the Melo part, but can't with the Green. We all know he's more athletic and can move, but that doesn't make him a good/great defender. I didn't see any consistent defense from him this season. Here and there perhaps, but nothing that enough to say "he can really play D".

Man if you don't stop it. Both players are not good at playing defense.

This has already been pointed out, but Ariza and Melo have an almost identical defensive rating.

Inconsistent D is better than no D.

people who dont understand defense will take that literally without actual context

I wouldn't be too concerned about Melo and who he can't guard.......I promised the opposing team will be more concerned about holding Melo lol
If he's on the court with defenders.....Clint, PJ and CP3, then he will be fine. Amazingly the same people that didn't think Paul and Harden would work are the same people questioning Melo's fit lol Funny how that works huh? I can't wait to see CP3 and Melo run perfectly timed pick and pops in the 2nd Quarter and closing out games......also Melo bringing that much needed post up game and taking advantage of mismatches relying less on drive penetration. It's just an element we've been missing and need sorely in order to manufacturer easy points. Can't wait.

where did you pluck this from.

go back and look at the cp3 acquisition thread. that should tell you what the majority of the board thought and laugh at this silly narrative you just made up

Lollll the same people who said cp3/harden wouldn't work (the dumb media) were ready to crown OKCs big three as The Rocket Kryptonite and WCF favorites to match up the worriers

Well shoot, that's a bad sign already. What does SAS think of Mello in Houston? Hope he craps on it because he's a "better fit" in LA.

you think so? dont think they want to do that (would not set well with Melo's agent)
who has alot of clients. It would be a bad look for OKC (Especially if OKC has already decided his fate

I think OKC is looking to trade him to a team that will buy him out to get him completely off their book, so yeah it could drag on a while.
