He'd be the stretch 4 that Anderson was supposed to be. Also, if CP3 can come in and change the defensive mentality of James Harden in his first season, I don't see how adding Melo (a great friend of CP's) to the fold would make the outcome any different.
If he wants to compete for a ship, he should go to Houston. His boy and all time great CP3 is there and reigning MVP JH. Rockets are the only team that can compete with GS.
the whole draw of getting him last summer was being able to shed ryno's contract in the transaction. but to sign a pudgy, lazy, selfish ballstopper on his own. nope
Have a bad feeling about this.. Melo was terrible last year, and made the Thunder worse. They will be better of without him. You can talk about fit all you want, but his issues last year went beyond "fit." I'm extremely skeptical that he would be any better here.
Yes, but the buyouts of Anderson + Nene will cost them more money than just buying out Carmelo unless my math is wrong.
I dont mind Melo having 5-8 ISOs per game to get him going, losing ariza and if CC signs QO then that means we have this year to make things happen with CC. That being said unless Morey have something in his sleeve.
