Remember when Clyde was forced to play in Portland for years until he finally overcame that adversity and made it to his hometown Rockets? Then immediately winning a ring the second he got the trailblazer stink off of him? Clyde "the Glide" Drexler - University of Houston and Houston Rocket legend and NBA champion. Good memories! EDIT: JUST LOOK AT HOW HAPPY CLYDE IS.
It's the beginning. Were going to be the next bandwagon team. Other teams Fans will crack jokes on Rockets posts in facebook or youtube, etc making fun of us saying "Rockets fans be like who is that?" to a picture of Vernon Maxwell as if were all bandwagoners.
Weed is legal up there now and what else is there to do. BTW, you are talking about a franchise that chose Bowie over Jordan, Oden over Durant. Be gentle, they don't have much.
@Jay23 Damn pretty ignorant for a basketball fan. Ryan Anderson is not the worst contract in the league. He wasn't even in the top 5 worst contracts for his free agent class. Mahinmi 4yr./70 mil, Mozgov 4yr/70mil, Parsons 4yr/94 mil, Rivers 3yr/35mil, Evan Turner 4yr/70 mil, Noah 4yr/72mil. Monroe 2yr/35mil. Ryan Andersons still the worst contract in the league?
jay23 has no room to talk. his own portland team has some of the worst contracts in the league. that's why they suck so bad now. giving all this money to players that either don't play or are not even close to good value. they just paid F. Ezeli a ton of money to not ever suit up in a game. now that's just laughable.
This is what pisses me off about this whole ordeal. Ryan Anderson actually has VALUE on the basketball court, and yet teams are acting like taking him on would crush their chances at competing. However, when Golden State needed to clear the trash off their roster to sign Durant, Dickbag Cuban went running over there to help. When Cleveland needed help to clear space for their superteam , other teams lined up. Yet, when it's our turn to try and get a team here in Houston, nobody wants to help anymore?? **** everything about that.
