Racist robots also out of the movie. Bay should replace it with a jewish robots with big nose.

 

I thought Lucas cornered the market on Jewish stereotypes in Sci-Fi movies?

Bay will have SOME kind of black guy cracking jokes. It's part of his formula.

On that note...I'm surprised we haven't seen more of the Indian stereotype in his Transformers.

i dont know fox is a pretty lady but i dont see how people think she is the greatest women ever there are plenty of hotter women in hollywood imo

My favorite part of 2 was the scene referenced in the OP where Fox is supposed to be fixing a motorocyle. Awesomely nonsensical.

I think Bay should make the 3 story be that Shia finds a new love who is perfect then Prime realizes humans really do suck and teams up with Megatron and then opens a can of whoop-ass on Earth. You know, a nice action romantic comedy.

 

The rule for r****ds in a movie should also apply to racist robots: Never go full.

 

Will I still watch Transformers 3? Probably.

Does that mean I think Michael Bay movies are masterpieces? Definitely not.

Is he good at making summer blockbusters? Definitely yes.

While it seems "hip" and "intellectual" to hate on Michael Bay (and Megan Fox), it doesn't change the fact that Bay is a money-making machine. With or without Megan Fox, this movie will still make over $300mil in the first two weeks.

 

It isn't that he is a money-making machine, it's more like, he is a master at exploiting people's stupidity and ignorance when it comes to good films. By making things blow up and having a lot of flashing lights and pretty colors. He is sitting in his big chair in his big house just laughing his ass off every time one of his ****ty movies is released and ends up being #1.

I understand if you watch it because you have kids, or maybe even if your girlfriend forces you to watch it. But if you actually go and purchase a ticket to one of his movies and you are over the age of 16, you should be ashamed of yourself.

I liked the first one well enough, the second one was horrendous. My biggest gripe is that they through virtually everything about old school Transformers out the window. I'm all for updating, but there should be balance. Spiderman 1 & 2 and Iron Man 1 & 2 (maybe the first XMen) are great examples of striking this balance.

Me, I'd bring in Simon Furman. His work, especially his run at IDW, is phenomonal.

But that's never going to happen under Michael Bay.

Maybe we'll get lucky and some animated films get done under Furman's direction.

Oh - and Megan Fox is an idiot bimbo. Hot skank is only awesome for 5 minutes.

On Wednesday, Paramount Pictures said it declined to pick up Fox's contract for the third installment. The studio did not give a reason, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, director Michael Bay is planning to take the story in a different direction and will cast a new love interest for Shia LaBeouf.

The split comes a few months after Fox's alleged dispute with cast and crew members of the second film, who wrote an open letter on Bay's website condemning Fox's behavior on set.
