I still can't get over Focker's name. I won't say anything more, it would be a spoiler.

Owen Wilson was on the cable guy also. Hilarious. I hate him, but that just tells me he's doing his job.

Also, I thought Deniro's love for Jinx was hilarious.

I liked it but I didn't think it was great. Maybe it was over-hyped? What I really liked was the outtakes on the DVD version. Those were more funny than anything in the movie. I laughed my arse off the whole time during the outtakes. Outtakes should be a regular supplement to all DVDs as they are too hilarious.

To put myself to the real test, I enjoyed a little herb before watching MTP. You would think I would be ready to LMAO but I didn't. I just didn't find the movie all that funny. It was amusing and drew some light giggles but that was it. The # of times they tried to exploit the word "focker" to draw a laugh was really depressing. It was funny about 2 times...the first time and the other time we all are hush about. The rest of the times...a waste!

Overall, great chemistry, good dialogue, good p(l)ot, amusing but not LOL funny. The outtakes were much better in my opinion. I recommend the movie but try not to be over-hyped...you will be let down. A sweet, romantic comedy with some laughs is how I would classify it. One thing I really liked(besides her body [IMG]) was her EX. Now, that guy was hilarious...especially when he first met the ex and those conversations they had were pretty funny. My rating:

    **** out of ***** stars

There's going to be a Meet the Parents 2. I think it's going to be titled "Meet the Fockers"

I loved at the end when he had to stand in line in front of the airline ticket counter even though no one was there. That was pure comedy genius.

Owen was definitely trying to Fock Greg over with that swimsuit.

I liked MTP quite a bit. The race to get home was hilarious. Also the line Owen had about "who better to pattern your life after.." Won't give it away to those who haven't seen it.

However, I was actually rolling around on the floor and pounding the sofa several times during "Something About Mary". I'm a sucker for sight gags. The zipper scene. The hair mousse. Resussitating the cat. I'm laughing right now.

I think you meant "resussitating the dog". At least, I think it was a dog. I liked "There's Something About Mary" and laughed louder and harder during that movie moreso than MTP. To each his own I guess. I'll admit that "Mary" had some pretty stupid stuff in it that I could have done without. However, I thought Matt Dillon was hilarious, the dog scenes were extremely funny, the pork and beans made me squirm a lot, and the end where Ben Stiller pronounces Brett Favre's name...that had me in tears. If you couldn't laugh at "Mary", then I don't see how you could laugh at MTP. I will never understand that so don't even try to explain.

Mary also had alot of subtle humor. The bartender calling Dillon "chompers" and Dillon zipping up his pants in the office. We've all done that, lol.

Of course you're right about the dog, not cat. Now I got one for you. It was "frank and beans" not pork and beans.
