Batman, thanks for lettings us know about this. My sister in law and I are big fans of the show, and I might surprise her with tickets to this (her birthday is this week).
I just started watching The Big Bang Theory a couple of months ago..didn't know he was a ROX fan...is he from Houston? I know his character is from East Texas..but didn't know he was really from Texas... I love that show & he really does make the show...even better now that I know he's a Rockets fan.
We want penny!! We want penny!! I'm one that also likes his shirts like hayesfan, and the fact that his character is big on comic books. Thankfully, I don't know anyone like his character in real life.
I found out she already has another party on Saturday night, and my wife isn't interested. It sounds like it would be a lot of fun, especially since Jim is a Rockets fan. Maybe I can talk her out of her other party tomorrow.
He is from Houston, yes. Born and raised. And pretty much his favorite thing to talk about is The Rockets.
Sadly, I have finals, work and my own play rehearsals...but I hope you guys have a great time and raise a lot of $.
Thanks! I really enjoy the show (though I will admit that I only watch it occasionally!) Edit: Also if he's a big Rockets fan why isn't he on here with us?
I like Jim Parsons as much as the next guy, but you had a show in town starring Wallace Shawn??? Seriously, did I miss that thread?
the big bang theory is one of my favorite shows, I always watch the show. I would like to meet him, and now I like him more because he is a rockets fan! If I lived in Houston I would go.
I've got a dancing show that same night...but... you wouldn't happen to have a link to send donations to your most excellent theatre company, anyway....would you ?
My sister is acquainted with him. She and her husband had a band and used to play (I think) Rudyards on a semi-regular basis. She says Jim used to come in and see them. Her bass player used to flirt with him a lot.
I love the Big Bang Theory and I think it would be cool to meet Jim Parsons, especially since he's a Rockets fan. Sadly, I don't live in Texas.
Oski: Wallace Shawn wasn't in the play; he wrote it. We're opening another play of his on May 7. pasox2: How kind of you! Sadly (and kind of embarrassingly) we don't yet have online donations set up. But we welcome donations by phone (713-522-2723) or mail (1540 Sul Ross/77006). And we'll have online donations going shortly after we get past the gala and our next opening. 111chase111: What's the name of the band your sister was in? If Jim went to see them, I probably did too. Especially if they played Rudyards.
