I don't think we need that much to improve, but Casserly still needs to go.

The OL has improved. We should dump McCrappy's contract and look for 2 solid performers (LG and RT). I really think Pitts will improve.

We have good young talent at the safety spots, for next year. Coleman can go. We have competition at CB (Petey and P-Buck). I think P-Buck will be better next year, or else his career is over.

I think we're ok on Pass rushers. If we switch to a 4-3, we'll need another ILB.

I think we should dump Bradford, and scout for another deep threat, but remember that we still have Mathis. Armstrong and Gaffney are good route runners.

You know, I used to feel the same way. But watching Bush against UCLA changed my mind. Yeah, the lanes were big, but when guys caught up to him, he either went around them or broke a tackle. Speed, strength, agility - it was all on display, even with the wide lanes.

Are you seriously comparing Bush to Ron Dayne? Have you even seen the guy run? I watched everyone in your list while they were in college, and the only one close was LT, and I still think Bush looks a lot more explosive than he did in college.

If the Texans do get the pick and get Bush, I could see them using him and Davis like USC uses Bush and White now.

Does anybody remember when Mike Ditka traded his whole draft to get Ricky Williams? If you were a GM and a team offered that same deal to you would you do it?

Why not? The Texans have a lot of holes to fill. The more draft choices, the better.

they hype is pretty incredible, i haven't had a chance to sit down and watch USC play til last week, and man, i was like god damn, there was this one run up the middle, it's like i kicked it into another gear and ran for like 35 yrs.... i'm like holly cow....he looked extremely dominate....I have to admit, he looks really awesome, i was expecting him to be more of a dancer type, like barry sanders, but he is more north south runner then i thought...very tempting guy...idunno if the texas would pass on him if we get the #1 pick....only thing i would do is, trade down to #2 and team has to guarantee us they won't take bush....#1 for #2 + 2nd/3rd round pick...and they can't take bush, i would do.... lol...b/c matt Lienhart(i know i butchered his name) has alot of hype also...

So if the Texans draft Bush and he turns out to be an NFL stud, and Luther Head continues his impressive play, would an end-of-the-year article in the Chronicle next year read something like, "Selecting Bush and Head Pays Off", or would we see others like "Texans' Running Game Opens Up with Bush" or "Head Proves Penetration is the Key to the Rockets' Offensive Success"?

P-Buck is fine as long as you don't have to cover or tackle
Petey is slightly below average- I want a good corner who can help us get to the playoffs in a couple
We have D. Orr who recently started to get the QB - just look at everyone else's sack totals
Mathis, Armstron, Gaffney- not one of them have proven to be play makers consistently at wide out- They are below average on a last place team- we need playmakers to get to the top level
The only improvement on the OL is Pitts the rest are average or below- look at the sack total for the team

We are last in run defense, poor defensively overall- look at the stats for the QB, the offense the running game

And look at the team record. We are 1- whatever because we don't have play makers.

The draft needs are huge on this team.

I would take Reggie Bush in a second or trade for 3 first day picks in a second- only if Charlie Casserly is not here.

His record here speaks for itself.
Over 30 draft picks- expansion team talent
