So Yao's foot doesn't feel 100% yet. In that case, the 24 mpg limit seems perfectly reasonable.

news just played some highlights from practice.....AB's pull up is insanely good, i just can't imagine trading this guy. No one has had that ability to accelerate so quickly and then pull up instantly, since AI, and Brooks' jumper is better. He won't be AI, but that weapon is too deadly, especially surrounded by more offense. Glad to see he tried to bulk up some this offseason, that's going toh elp him a ton when he's between the trees.

Players are considered superstars based mostly on their stats and athletic prowess (and arguably, flair).

Spurs' Parker and Ginobilli (or even Duncan) are generally not considered superstars, even with a few Championships. Pierce and Allen from Celtics are generally not considered superstars. They are all very good players, all-stars for sure. But doesn't matter, they won, and often.

    Duncan defines superstar...

Pierce/Garnett were absolutely superstars the year they won a ring, and for a decade before it they were always top 10 players...

Team chemistry and team balance are also part of the equation. Just look at the success the the recent Piston teams that dominated the Eastern conference. Also look at the lack of succes of the Lebron Cavs, even with one the of the biggest Superstars they couldn't win a ring.

I'll take our chances with the team we have today. I think we have just enough team balance, chemistry, and star power to contend.

Agree completely. Also you can never underestimate what a team without cancers like tmac and rafer can do. As long as we have a solid team with good slashing/penetration capability and the absence of a so called superstar who keeps chucking outside shots, truly anything can happen

Would you mind comparing some pictures for me? I don't see a difference at all and would like to know what you're looking at.

You can't honestly be making a judgement about the thickness of shoe soles based on that photo...can you?
