Would like to know if this study was sponsored by any special interest group. Yeah yeah, I know UCLA is supposed to be a "liberal" school.

I find the methodology cited in the article questionable.

EDIT: Mulder's post confirms my suspicion.

Some perspectives: while vast right wing conservatives call it Clinton News Network, in the eyes of many overseas Chinese, CNN is equivalent to "China No good News."

If it is so dangerous do you also point out the danger of watching anything on Faux News, Reading Newsmax, or the Washington Times. Or do you lecture your kids on the horrors of Rush Limbaugh and Shawn Hannity? Unlesss you want to propostersly claim none of these are "biased".

If not then you are being a hypocrite. Instead your sentence post should read more like this.

Liberal Media Bias is dangerous to MY way of thinking. It contradicts everything that I WANT to be percieved as the truth....It is a danger to the Republican Party...especially to the Young republicans clubs. This is one of the reasons I point out the bias in the NY TIMES, but NOT in Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, or Fox news.

The Klan has a slightly higher body count, and no Image Awards, so maybe not. Federalist Society, Christian Coalition, Concerned Alumni of Princeton, NRA (given their size and level of influence) maybe.

Richirich announces his study finds 99.99% of the world is self-biased and self-interested but not very interesting....

People in the academic world (do I just say "academics"?) are often paid by special interest groups to come up with their "findings". And I'm sure that goes for both the Dems and the Repugs.

So it's tough to lend credence to this sort of stuff.

And thacabbage is right: a lot of scummy goings-on never make it to print thanks to editors either conservative or scared-straight (so to speak: print that story and we'll ruin you).

Shouldn't that force people to find another outlet or demand better accountability from our journalists?
