If this is the case, the chances of you actually getting into a game with someone who has "modified" their console in order to cheat at a single game is slim to none. The only "hacks" you see on console are game specific glitches that can be patched out by the game creator. On the other hand, the average Joe who has a basic concept of programming can create a pretty basic hack on the PC. I remember playing the original Ghost Recon back in the day on PC, half the people playing were glitching in the walls. It made the game unplayable. Shooters are certainly easier to control with mouse and keyboard but I'll gladly pick up a controller to pass on all the cheaters. Not to mention I enjoy sitting in front of a massive high def TV with a couple of friends playing some local coop and throwing back a couple cold ones.
Those PC gamers are idiots. I have my own opinions on PC vs. console. A gamer has both and enjoys both. There pros and cons to each. Now...I can stick my xbox controller into my computer and play games on it that previously I'd only play on consoles. So the edge *to me* goes to PC. PCs are more expensive to game on than consoles. Consoles you have to pay to play online. PCs are more powerful but at a cost. In general though, FPS and RTS games on PC is the way to go. The control schemes are just easier/better. Adventure, driving, sports are typically better on a gaming controller. Again, notice my use of "in general and typically." Regarding FPS, since we are talking about them here, it's hard to argue against it on the PC. The down side, yes, more hacker vulnerable. Less about exploits like on console. Why exploit when you can straight up cheat, haha. But as far as precision and control, it's just better with a mouse. No aim assist, no quick scoping, unless you are just that good. You can aim faster on a PC. If you run into say 3 targets in front of you that aren't lined up. You can spray and try and get them all on a console. On PC, you can aim at each one and take them out more easily. I'm sure you all heard Microsoft (or someone) trying to combine the PC and console gaming communities with FPS online play. Stupid idea, but they tried it anyway. The playing field was not level. PC gamers always won. Not from skill, but from the control scheme. I think this is where the "elitist" attitude comes from.
they were being real b****y at Toys R Us this morning and would not honor the deal I showed them online, so I'll have to order it now.
The beauty of having Black Ops on Steam/PC... I don't have to listen to 11 year olds dropping racist and homophobic comments while being yelled at by their mothers.
The main piece seems to be a SGT insignia in red, a PFC in blue, then just polygons to cover the rest of the blue, with a white star on top. The horns looks like one red and one blue circle with white circles on top of them creating the effect of horns.
Here's mine, a version of the Reddit alien. ... although I'm changing it to totally steal the Texans logo, at least until Thursday!
Thanks for the help.. I'm definitely gonna use the Texans one. But quick question i guess.. When you prestige, do they match you with a bunch of sorry noobs?? Because I just prestiged again and now i'm second prestige level 2, and I just went apesh!t on summit (my most hated map) by going 42-12 on domination with the freaking mp5k! Usually I'll go 25-10 or 29-12 but now when I prestiged it seems a lot easier.. So do they put you with sorry people or what?
New patch coming from Treyarch...If you dont want to watch the video, here are the notables: Hardline Pro will only allow a "re-roll" with care packages...not Sam Turret, Sentry Gun, etc... Spawn system has been tweaked. Better sound for Ninja Pro users...increased range and volume. Minor reductions in knife lunges. When using a killstreak such as Gunship or Chopper...the red diamond appearing around enemies is delayed for a period of time for those that have just spawned. This will allow people to not get slaughtered as soon as they spawn. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/dsE4WcleKNE?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/dsE4WcleKNE?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
