The YouTube vids don't do the maps justice. I think the maps are great and look very realistic.

Trust me, there is a drastic difference between MW2 and Black Ops. The level of balance in Black Ops is second to none...much better multiplayer experience. Also, if you only buy games that are drastically different from its predecessor, not sure why youd even consider AC: Brotherhood. Maybe you like the story...but the story in Black Ops is probably the best story of any COD game.

Regarding Spec Ops...I agree that it was a great feature. But, you can also ask why Infinity Ward didnt include zombies in MW2, as that was one of the best features in WaW.

All in all, you're missing out on a great game because of your insistence that Treyarch is an inferior developer. In reality, theyve put out an excellent game and they are actively working with the community to fix any issues that exist...something IW never really cared to do.

Balance is not a drastic change. MW2 was a drastic change from MW1 because there was a ton more stuff added. You could now customize kill streaks, before there were just 3 that everyone had to stick with. There were a lot more weapons, there were a lot more attatchements, a lot more game modes, Spec Ops, etc.

and there has never been anything like AC: Brotherhood before, it is an online based game, the only one in the AC series which has never offered online before.

To me, MW2 also had a totally different feel. And the weapons weren't balanced, the assult rifles were easily way better than everything else. In MW1 I saw people dominate with anything ARs, SMGs, and Snipers. Plus the maps sucked in 2.

I dunno man, the group of guys i played with would be able to "own" with any weap. From ARs (SCAR, etc.), SMGs (UMP), Sniper (Intervention/50cal), pistols (g18, USP, etc.). it was just about being the twitchiest/quickest person. BO is a little the same way as far as being fastest.

I certainly feel a diff between IW and 3arch games though.

I am not disagreeing with any of that, I am just pointing out that MW2 warranted a purchase from me because it added a lot of things from the previous title, and it was released a full two years after the first. Sequels released only a year after the previous one usually dont have vast improvements. Its the same reason I dont buy Fifa and NBA 2k every year but rather every other year because as much as I love those games, they improvements are not significant enough to be worth buying again. I made the mistake of buying L4D 2 after it was released only a year after Left4Dead and it was a mistake, it was barely any different.

That being said, I almost consider IW Cods and Treyarch Cods different series all together.

Anyone looking for a reason to get this game: WAGER MODE. It includes 4 game types where you can wager the money you have made in game.

    My 2 favorites are:

    1) Sticks and Stones - You get a crossbow(with 4 exploding bolts), ballistic knife (hand-held projectile blade), and a throwing knife (tomahawk). It's free for all with 6 players and if you tomahawk someone, it resets their score for that round to zero. LOTS OF FUN for beginners and pros alike.

    2) One in the Chamber - Everyone starts with a pistol with only ONE bullet. If you kill an enemy (1 shot kills) you gain a bullet. Each player has 3 lives and whoever has the highest score when 1 remains wins.

There's also a Gun Game (Counterstrikers may remember this) where you progress through 20 tiers of weapons, first to get a kill with all 20 wins.

Youtube wager mode and check out some of these games, they are truly awesome.

COD4 is the pinnacle of multiplayer FPS on consoles. There's just no comparison to that...

Also, I wish I could get past like the 13th round of zombies. I gotta say, that game mode is insanely addicting.
