Medal Of Honor Or Black Ops Or Both?

Game Informer said that Black Ops is the best multiplayer experience of any Call of Duty game to date...

Not shocking if youve followed Treyarch's efforts through the entire process.

 

I might just play until 4am.

FWIW, just because a map is larger doesn't automatically mean that it encourages camping. In fact some larger maps do the opposite. See Atacama Desert on BFBC2.

I have been reiterating the same point you made, but for different reasons. You said you don't want to see corner camping, which I completely agree with. Yet, the type of game that you want to see completely encourages camping. It doesn't matter what game it is, larger maps = more camping. It's just a basic fact. One team will actually move to try and find the other team, but they'll just be close to their spawn aiming down their sights. The team that moves out first is automatically at a disadvantage because the other team has better cover and a more "strategic" location.

Anyways, the more important point was "team" games being unrealistic because the general player doesn't have a full 6 man team he can play with. It sucks losing in solo queue because your teammates blow. One person can only carry a team so many times.

Battlefield is the same thing. Yeah the guy isn't sitting in a corner, but there's a few people behind their team racking up points. The destructible environment stops some of the camping in battlefield, but it's ridiculous to say the same **** doesn't happen in that game...

Hamza, a lot of the YouTube commentators that have been playing the game over the few days have been saying that snipers suck in the game...so although clips here and there will make it look beastly, I wouldn't worry too much about that. Although, to be honest, can't check out the video bc I'm at work, but I think you're referring to the sniper.

Everything I have heard about the MP is that it's ridiculously balanced.

 

Meh boring. Modern weapons and settings are boring.

 

I finally got Medal of Honor working (PC), and I gotta say, I really enjoy playing it. I liked MW2 a lot, and ended up being pretty decent at it.

In Medal of Honor you have to be more careful, but you still have to be quick. I like that. It does take some team work, but not too much. Anyway, so far so good. I never tried BF:BC2, but didn't like the feel of single player.

I don't plan on playing Black Ops as I just have too many games to play. Who knows though...

 

Black Ops is gonna be insane. I can't go tonight at midnight , so i'll just wait till tomorrow to get it.. Can't wait!!

 

LOL, Thats what everyone thought about WWII before the Modern genre came out. Now people are getting sick of the Modern genre.


Does anyone know if Best Buy is selling it with a $20 gift card? If so, that is the only way I will buy it because it will be free using the last $20 gift cards I have gotten from there.

 

I know there's a $10 GC if you're in their rewards program.

Only reason I'm buying it is apparently Best Buy is paying $30 for trade in of a complete game of MW2.

I'm not a rewards member, but they often give out $20 gift cards with the purchase of a game. For instance, they did it when I bought Halo: Reach.

 

Damn, i didn't get one with fable 3.
