TMAC does not even come close to making top 5 most hated in Houston.... Quitten is NOT lower than TMAC.

this board is so dumb sometimes...tmac sucks, he's washed up, he quit on the team, he's a joke, but scottie pippen? pippen did that all in one season....without tmac we dont make the playoffs 3 of the last 4 years...instead of first round virgin, we're playoff virgin. but obviously most ppl on this board has short term memory..pathetic.

Pippen is by far the most hated of the Rockets past.

What you saw in Chicago was a guy who road the coattails of MJ. Cause post MJ he didn't show any leadership on any of his teams.

And poetic justice has Pippen choking against the Lakers, while hero Robert Horry gets the glory!

You do realize that the team made the playoffs the year before McGrady got here right? Short term memory is a b****!

    My list goes like this......

Bud Adams - He has to be #1

Stacy Mclady - THe Rockets put together arguably the most talented team in their history of a franchise and She Mac tools with our doctors and coaching staff from game to game and opens one can of quit after another and then pulls a ploy move not to get traded so he can relax after surgery. If only we would have listened to the Magic's GM when we traded for him when he called Tmac a quitter. Everyone thought that guy was a jerk, but it looks like he knew the truth.

Scottie Pippen - He has always been an ass hat even before coming here. It was a good experiment to try, but Pippen showed who he really was without Jordan being there to show him how to act like a man.

Derek Bell - Many people forget about this clown. The guy was really good for a while and then turned into a cancer refusing to play because he had to compete for a position and bragged about having a yaught to hang out on instead.

Buddy Ryan - The guy brought a little defense here and all, but punched another respected coach on the sidelines who had been here for years for no reason and then his defense folded in the playoffs into the worst playoff loss of all time where he made several arrogant comments about the organization after leaving.

No way McGrady deserves to even be on the same list as Pippen. Pippen was here for barely more than half a season, was a major diappointment, whined constantly about his role, then demanded a trade and ripped the Rockets once he left.

While you can question the playoff results and his durability and work ethic at times, McGrady has absolutely carried this team over the last several seasons. Yes, this year has been frustrating, but to ignore his importance to an annual 50-55 win team over 4 years of service is unfair and frankly disrespectful.

As they say, you either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain. That's why Steve Francis lives on as a hero on this board, because he happened to leave near his prime. If we had endured the Steve Francis from his years on the Knicks, I seriously doubt he would retain his cult following. McGrady, with his injuries and diminished skills, has clearly become the villain and scapegoat here.

Rocket fans only care about "What have you done for me lately," yet they turn around and criticize players (even Hakeem Olajuwon) for "lack of loyalty."
