Parcells has done it every where he has been. I think they are contenders too. And no I'm not a big Cowboy fan. But Parcells deserves his props. And Bledsoe is actually very underrated. He's tough as nails out there and he can throw it. Yeah, he holds the ball too long. So what. Favre takes too many chances too. Bledsoe has been way too much maligned and picked on over his career for the career that he has had. I'd like to see him win it just to shut up all his detractors.
19-10.....wow I can't believe there are losers out there who still remember that..It was one effin game....As for History...only Pittsburgh, and San Fran can say theyve won 5....The Oilers never got to the big game and the Texans wont either.. Every year youll be optomistic and pray that this is finally your year....The people who make decisions for the Texans organization are horrible. The draft is a big blemish, and it seems like You guys lose important players every offseason. The worst thing about it is that you bring a bunch of no name hacks to just fill out the roster. And I'll I'm saying is it's not fair to compare the two teams history when one team has been around for 46 years compared to the Texans 4 years. So if you are gonna make comparisons, Take Dallas' FIRST four years VS Texans First Four and that would be an almost fair comparison. Then if you really want to get nitpicky, compare the two teams side by side the last four years. Even with Dallas better record than the Texans over the past four years, if you don't win the Superbowl, you are just like the rest of the teams. With that in mind, you go to the HEAD to HEAD record...and guess who wins - for now

Um you want the Astros to model the Rangers? Um no I'm pretty happy with the Astros success over the last decade. They havent won it all but what have the rangers won? Like one playoff GAME in 35 years???? (BTW 3rd highest payroll) We're like the freaking yankees comparing ranger and astro history. Cowboys havent been really relavant in a long time. The Texans do look clueless at times but the cowboys aren't exactly doing anything over there either. You have to be able to pass effectively and accurately to be a REAL NFL QB. If VY tosses passes up like he did at UT, he will have many passes intercepted. Dear Sir: I am in receipt of your message regarding Houston sports franchises relative to Dallas sports franchises. As you might know, I was very disappointed in the Texans' 2-14 finish last season. I was more disappointed in their reluctance to use the first pick in the draft on Vince Young. As I've belabored time and again, in my mind you don't pass up on a special talent like Vince because you have David Carr. As a fourth generation Houstonian, I have experienced the joy of two championships with the Rockets; the joy of a NL pennant with the Astros and the heartbreak of watching my football team collapse in playoff game after playoff game, only to relocate and win the conference in Tennesssee. I did not grow up with the Texans. I was very excited about them initially, and the novelty worked its way through me. I owned season tickets for the first two seasons and really enjoyed my days out at Reliant with my friends and family. Neverthless, my allegiances to the Texans were tested when they went away from Vince. I can not deny that. And I came to realize, I was not a Texan fan in the same way I was an Astros fan or a Rockets fan; not even close, really. Butwith posts like yours, I get closer. Because as you flame on about the Cowboys and the supposed superiority of DFW's sports market, I find myself pulled deeper and deeper into the fandom of the Steel Blue and Battle Red. DFW seemingly didn't know the Mavs existed for about 10 years or so. You could get free tickets at Taco Bell. DFW is cursed with a horrible baseball franchise that makes the same stupid personnel mistakes year after year as they melt in the Texas heat at Ameriquest Field. I was there, sir, when the Texans beat the Cowboys 19-10 in their franchise opener. I was there when the crowd literally willed them to a win. I've never experienced anything like that before in professional sports. And now, with your help in this post, I want even more desperately for the Texans to mop the floor with Cowboy ass AGAIN. In that sense, you have helped me become more endeared to my home town football team. I'm appreciative of that and look forward to the season and the trip to Dallas with a new sense of excitement. D. Davis knee better get heathly in hurry if the Texans are to have a chance vs. the Cowboys. The A. Smith show... I don't think so. Beyond all that the Texans and Cowboys need to play each other EVERY season no matter what ! There are many different ways to make this happen without causing problems with schedules.
