Sometimes you don't see your flaws unless you look in the mirror or unless someone points them out. I don't think he intentionally wants to turn the ball over, I don't think he intentionally wants to dribble the shot clock out and force a bad shot, I think he intends to do well BUT if it's not pointed out to him, then how does he get better? Unless someone sits down and talks to him about it.....simple, not comical.
Yeah we are all homers.loool You who clearly has some agenda are not biased.Again give us a number of how many harden bashing threads should be opened so you can feel happy? Obviously 2 is not enough for you.
how many brewer bashing threads are there? how many dmo threads are there? is there some kind of rule?
I think you just made my point . That is bball 101. The fact that MDA is not employing that tactic during close games makes him him either a bad coach or he knows this is our best chance to win these games. which one is it?
So now you are comparing Harden to Brewer? The point is it is not warranted. You however feel the whole page should be filled with Harden bashing threads like last season. Two is obviously does need satisfy you're Harden hating taste buds. You need help. I am done arguing with a sadistic lunatic like you. Get help.
Understand and totally agree but Harden has to have the understanding, that after a 2nd or 3rd straight turnover, he has to get the team into a play or a PNR situation where they can get a GOOD shot. Don't magnify the situation by continuing to turn the ball over with behind the back passes and going one- on - one. If you look at the game again, we should have been up by 20 points going into Halftime but we kept making bad play after bad play, same thing for going down the stretch into the 4th quarter. We were up by 13 and lost the lead due to poor decision making, when all we had to do was keep it simple.
Got another solution for you. Stick to reddit as they seem to have more knowledegable posters there and less delusion . might cure your head shaking
I don't think MDA is a bad coach, remember the other coach and players are being paid too. I think they are taking the Rockets out of what they want to do most, but as I stated earlier, if Harden can stay away from the BEHIND the back passes and from waiting until 3 seconds on the shot clock before he decides to make a move to the basket, the Rockets will do better. There's a REPLAY of the game today at 4:30 on NBA TV. I suggest we all need to watch it to see what exactly transpired.
Without knowing what is being discussed in the hudle, watching those replays does not help because we dont know how the play is suppose to transpire. We dont know if there were any broken plays or it was really designed for him to take the shot with a few secs left
Zach lowe just posted something about our numbers when harden is on the bench, since bev has been back
yeah, not looking good for Harden, we are playing way better with him on the bench in the last 10 games or so
yea the Rox tend to fall asleep...I saw that...it also seemed Anderson/Harden were not on the same page and the momentum shifted back to OKC as a result. Harden passed to Anderson at least 3 times and either Harden made a bad pass or Anderson was asleep....it looked to me as if Anderson just wasn't all there last night from my point of view. I also get frustrated with some of Harden's passes but to me it's a law of averages deal...if MDA wants him to do just about everything he seems to be living with Harden's lackluster moments...at the same time the Rox as a team have periods where they just flat out FALL ASLEEP for a handfull of minutes which not only makes Harden's game outta sync but the entire team as a whole. They seem to be working on this problem but I think Harden is just part of this symptom....you know it's coming when they start missing easy layups, free throws like last night...if they make those layups and free throws the offense obviously flows better along with Harden's passing in addition to his number of assists increasing
Good thread. Every other superstar in the league is completely perfect - they never miss an easy shot or deliver a bad pass. Harden needs to get his act together.
Harden is obviously not perfect (who is?), but A) Those iso plays were clearly drawn up, as JVG pointed out. The team spread the floor and didn't set any P&Rs specifically so that Harden could iso... and it worked. at least like 2/3 plays towards the end. B) Some of that shizz is just the kinda bad you have to take with the good with a player like Harden. Telling Harden to be careful with his passes is basically telling him to change his game. If he starts worrying about that stuff, then he stops making as many GOOD passes that result in open threes or Capela dunks, too. It's like telling Kobe or Westbrook to stop shooting so much. You just can't do it.
Not saying Harden is above criticism, but when you cross a line into agenda-fanaticism, then you are not above criticism. Do you really miss Dwight so much? Something like that?
