Nah this is a little more fun. Making a thread look just as dumb as Beverley's defense is fraud. You were told from the beginning to relax a bit but nah you wanted to keep going
Wow so much hostility here. There's really like a gang mentality here picking on people for no reason. What's up with that?? All of those points are fair points. It's not to bash on Harden it is to better the team. This team can be aiming to 2nd place in the west if they will make the right plays. Everyone is playing great but yes- Harden do make at least 2-3 stupid turnovers a game (not talking about legitimate turnovers of failed passes in the paint but on behind the back/dribble/not paying attention passes). Also the 4th quarter iso ball is just bad for the team. Only thing I don't agree is the 3 point shots which are usually good shots and with the flow. We need to try and look at the game like San Antonio- every possession counts, 100% effort in every second and no one is bigger than the team. That's how you become great.
In comparison to Lebron? I'll look later but Harden's usage has to be higher and his assist/to ratio is better then lebrons
I guess you missed the game thread where harden was getting murderd by the clutch users for his terrible turnovers?. What do you want for everyone to start a different thread bashing harden so haters like you can jerk off to it?
Absolutely agree 100%. I noticed this at the end of regulation during the GSW game. Offense became completely stagnant and it was the reason why we almost lost then too. I understand the change was made to counter to opposing team but I'm not sure if it's a great idea to drift away from our most effective play in these crunch time situations. We need to have a guy that can set legit picks (not just screen and fade like Ryan) in at all times.
I don't really agree isos are always bad. Harden blew by Roberson twice in the final minutes yesterday. Depends on the situation. They were doing a good job defending the pick and roll.
Oh I wasnt comparing harden's years. That was in response to 5.7=4.0 turnover that Lebron is a averaging
The problem with Harden sometimes is his engagement to the game and to his teammates and it's very easy to tell early in the game when he missed a few shots or from his body language, that's his biggest weakness, not those TOV or miss shots, you can't just cheer for the goods and hate the badd that will come with the results. However, effort is different story, Bev is the best example. Harden may or may not change this way he played in his whole career, but on the other hand, Bev will never be at the same level as the player Harden is in his whole career. So that is that. Harden is an exceptional good player in this league, but to achieve greatness, he will need to get over this at some point, and hopefully, the sooner the better for the Rockets.
A better use of MDA's time would be to have a talk with you about thread content. We're on a roll, let's not nitpick our best player.
I don't think Hardens turnovers were a problem until last year. That's when you see his to ratio really get a lot higher than lebrons.usage is slightly higher for harden. But harden also has a very high assist ratio this year
I'm still not picking Harden as MVP because he has shat the bed too many times against elite defensive teams this season. Maybe the first San Antonio game is the exception, but if you remember he almost gave away that game at the end of the 4Q too. Only performing well against teams like Sixers or Lakers doesn't really impress me.
Thankfully people like you don't count and are irrelevant when it comes to giving out awards and in general.Go back to reddit and join you're buddies in the Harden bashing circle. Has he commited a few silly turnovers? yes, but has his positives this season out wheighed the negatives? hell yes.
sorry to bust your bubble, but if your best player consistently doesn't play well against elite defensive teams, that spells trouble in the playoffs.
