The absolute lamest statement is the "reverse jinx" statement. It enables the person to be right either way. If it turns out they are right, they feel self-righteous and come across as a douche as they crow about their prognostication. If they are ridiculously wrong then they go to the "reverse jinx" schtick and say that was their intent all along.
You think pointing out Harden being careless with the ball and consistently making bad play down the stretch is "criticizing every little thing in order to mold their own perfect player?"
As good as hes been Gordon is not a closer. There's a huge difference between actual closers and good players
Calm down there newb. You don't know me and you don't wanna get in my space. You're seeking trouble. Btw I didn't read your OP
team still has problems top to bottom. one of the biggest ones is when they're down big they chuck threes. and they still refuse to shoot mid ragne jumpers. even with a new roster, there's bad habits from last season on this team. i thoguth mda would be on top of that before teh season began. this team has long ways to go, esp harden. im amazed they got their record. as i always said its not hard to be a good team when u surround superstar harden, or any superstar, with competent role players. we saw that in 14-15 and again now. his first 2 years here he wasnt a superstar yet so thats that. lots of work, hope they do it instead of be content with what they have now.
But I do really want this to be a reverse-jinx thread tho. You think I really want Harden to play poorly and the Rockets to lose?
What if Harden gave you what you wanted; Did the usual, the expected, the normal? That's no fun. Stop trying to put Harden's game in a box. Harden is #HereToCreate.
You should have just stopped posting about Harden back when you claimed that the Thunder were better off with Lamb and Reggie Jackson.
Hardens shots last night were not dumb shots he's just missing them. The turnovers though are killer. We got extremely lucky that okc missed shots or we would have lost. He tried a fancy behind the back bounce pass twice in the fourth quarter that ended up as turnovers.
I didn't know that. People are killing Harden for yesterday's game outside this website (to be fair Westbrook also), and here people are celebrating, smh
Your point of MDA sitting down to have a talk about harden is definitely not being made. That's the funny part and what you seem to have a hard time understanding. The turnovers will happen for someone who has to create so much and the isos will happen bc he's by far the best player. Can it be toned down? Of course. Will it stop? Nope. It'll fluctuate all year long. Some games bad. Some games good.
Link? Never been a Lamb or Reggie Jackson fan as long as I could remember. If I said that, then I would be in a seriously drunk state. There was a time though when Reggie Jax did perform well, not great, just well.
OP - This may have been before your time but you're lucky the thread rating system no longer exists. Or else this would have been a certified 1 star thread and posters will NEVER read again. You need t take lessons from @Os Trigonum on how to create threads
That's not what I'm seeing. If anything that was a great grind it out team win. Games are going to be like that. and you need those to become a good team that wants to go far
Lol ok whatever you say. Looks like we'll have to keep revisiting this unnecessary thread just like beverleys bc someone is too stubborn
