That pretty much sums up Texans in a nutshell

While War Games is the answer to MOST questions, it is not the answer to this one. I award 1 point.

Bud Adams was the worst. He wasn't actually cheap: he and Hunt subsidized a lot of AFL owners behind the scenes to keep the league afloat, but he was a pretty strict micro-manager and tried to implement what are actually fairly sound business practices for oil and gas firms into what is essentially a non-profit (2-3% margins tops) with full dependency on press, union and governmental approval. Landry, a UT and UH guy, immediately recognized that and turned down his head coaching offer to go to the Cowboys instead. True to form he sacked Rymkus a year-and-a-half in, and Wally Lemm didn't stick around once the NFL came calling. By the time the early '80s rolled around, Adams simply couldn't get a good NFL coordinator to trust him, fell ass backwards into Holovak's good drafts and Glanville's halfway decent defensive coaching.

Are you kidding me? He is a professional and a leader compared to Les and Morey. They dont know who really interferes with coaching and player acquisitions. Lol. Thats just Houston management for you in genereal. Racist, douchey,

The team you love to criticize has had 3 losing seasons in the last 30 years. The Texans, on the other hand, would have to have winning seasons for the next 10 years just to get back to .500. Your little schtick is ****ing stupid.

Are we even 8-8 with Rick Smith?

The franchise is 30+ games below .500

Our division has mostly been bad, and now, every other team appears to have their QBs.

8-8 could be 6-10 very soon

Nope, you're right. They're closer to 6-10 than they are 8-8. Losers more often than not.

Other than the two "glory years" LOL, franchise hasn't done much.

    They're 7 games under .500 (71-78) during the Rick Smith era(2006-)

Just wandering along aimlessly and effortlessly.

    Cal is gangsta:

Cal invites over pops and Rick Smith and Clay Walker for fried chicken Friday night.... maybe a little golf on Saturday with Rick Smith and some over paid ex-Texans player...... Sunday morning Church with the Smith's and a privateTexas brunch........ Sunday game day, the score forgotten by 3 pm and early dinner with local Republican politicians and maybe a few off color jokes about the gays and bed by 7 in their gated community...missionary sex with the wife that last 6 minutes.... Monday count the money.

Living the life McNair clan........ living the life.
