Make no mistake about it...like it or not....Kubiak will be back next season. I'm pretty convinced of that at this point.

    Yep.

If it weren't for having to listen to the whiners and the screamers, I would've liked for the Texans to lose out so we could get a higher draft pick.

At the very least now, I want to be picking in front of the Titans.

And really, as totally frustrated with this season as I am, I'm okay with that. I don't think you fire him just to fire him. Unless you have a better solution (Cower), you give him one more year. Besides Cower, no one else out there excites me.

For me, it's either Cower or one more year of Kubiak. If it's up to me, those are the only 2 choices.

I agree with one caveat. I think Kubiak insulated himself this year with a host of kid coordinators. If fired, who was to take the interim position? Surely not Bush, not boy wonder. Gibbs? I just don't know about that right now.

I would like to see McNair get aggresive with Kubiak and make an offer to Mike Martz to come on as Offensive coordinator. He would match the system, take Kubiak out of play calling and force him to "coach" the game, and would be a viable in-season replacement if it's more of the same.

And don't be suprised when you see another season of mediocore play. Kubiaks teams don't give him a full 60 and he is horrible under pressure or when it's time to make a big call. I don't know how much more the owner needs to see. He doesn't suck but he's not "good".
