If what your saying is true, what does it say about the organization who McHale answers to? And if you consider Lin as a role player and outside of the core group, his development is not essential, in other words he is lumped with Garcia and Casspi and if they do not perform, then they will not play.
Big Lin fan here, but he was not good at all yesterday not just because of the 0 for 5 shooting. He was basically like daydreaming in the basketball court, or maybe he was distracted with something in his mind or something. His reaction to the plays was slow, he just doesn't look right out there for some reason. I hope yesterday's game was just an off game with him.
Let me tell you what the debate is about. Lin fanboys slobbering all over his **** again after he didn't play many minutes because he straight up didn't do anything. There's nothing to debate here. Lin didn't preform last night for whatever reason period. Shots wasn't falling, wasn't being very aggressive, and most importantly him and the second squad blew the lead in the beginning of the 4th quarter. As any non-r****ded coach would do, McHale had to scramble to put the starting line up back again in as the starting 5 were doing very well the whole game. There was no mis treatment or biased or short leash, just once again Lin's r****ded fans crying over nothing. Lin was 0-5, there wasn't a point in leaving a cold shooter out there when we just blew the lead at the end of the 4th quarter.
Geez, one bad game all hell breaks loose. People don't forget Bev, Parson, Harden & Howard had bad game(s). They all have bad D and/or bad shooting some nights. Lin is just human like any of them. Why so fast to bash & trash him? I think his shots weren't falling and Dwight was so efficient inside. So his best option was just to dump Dwight the ball and get out of the way.
For yesterdays game, he was pretty poor. But Bev has been dog**** this year too. I think Bev is a limited MPG, spurt player. And Lin is just too inconsistent and erractic. The fact that he's scared of being yanked, scared of his teammates, scared of the pressure all show.
Spoken as a true non-LOF. I like it. Apparently, those who have a 2012 and later on their date are LOFs. But I would say there are lots more LOHs that registered on 2012 than LOFs.
the only issue I have is Mchale plays Bev over Lin. and how you guys are saying Bev is a better defender than Lin when the stats say completely the opposite. Bev hasn't done anything in this game/season/over lifetime to get more minutes than Lin
Ah, good ole LOFs at it again. When Lin was playing for virtually the entire game against Toronto while Beverley sat, no one praised McHale for going with the hot hand rather than distributing minutes. Of course, one game when Lin sucked and McHale decides to go to the better player? He's back to being a biased, racist, horrendous coach again. Makes me wonder if there's a segment of this board that are racist against black people. Where were all these calls for unfairness when Beverley was sticking his ass on the bench because he wasn't as productive as Lin?
lol what? McHale benched Lin cause of Lowry's 2 3s, and then was forced to bring him back in when Parsons fouled out. Lin was our best player that game. Absolute bone headed move by McHale. Harden can have Steve blake and JJ Reddick lighting him up but there's no accountability.
Ur point is? Lin still played like twice as many minutes as him, Or did you want Lin to play like 60 minutes that game and Beverly gets none. Where was the McHale mistreating our starter Beverly thread
Why didn't he bring back Beverly? Why choose Lin? Does he not care for Beverley's feelings? Does he have a hidden bias against shorter, black PGs? Lin was our worst player this game. So if it's true that you believe players that plays better should be in the game, why would McHale have Lin in the game against the Mavs. Was Lin held accountable when he was lit up by James Anderson? Did McHale bench him?
