If you're a coach, you know better than to just not play your starters unless it's absolutely necessary for their health or if there's no reason to play them.

Also, players get rusty. If you rest James for too long, he'll naturally stiffen up. That would be disastrous come playoff time if his shot is short from not being loose. The same goes for Chandler.

Ideally, Dwight needs to get in a game or the playoffs will be too much for him to handle.
