He came here to win and we did that last season. Starting PG and PG being out helped to derail the ultimate goal.

Why should he sulk? He's playing well and focused out there. His flaws are his flaws but it's not usually from an effort standpoint.

McHale was not being critical of Dwight. McHale was trying to explain that Dwight is just different. I think McHale thinks Dwight gets unfair criticism because his personality is different from the norm. His comments about how Dwight is now limited in what he can do because of physical issues was interesting.

McHale made it very clear that Dwight is not the problem with the Rockets.

McHale needs to come out and say it. Harden is the problem. You can't put up that little of effort on the defensive end and expect to win anything.

Dwight gives it his all and was never the problem.

The guy mailing it in constantly on the defensive end still has Mac by the balls it seems.

That's usually how sports work? Can't get too high or too low. I mean the man just said it himself that Dwight gives 100% effort.

It's like firing shots to your Ex after a nasty breakup. Just distasteful.

Dwight nor Harden care enough about winning and losing that is our problem.

I can't take a word Milk Hair says seriously. Not when he was here and certainly not now. He knows he did an inept job and now is taking all kinds of petty shots at the Rockets. He is just blowing smoke.

He is still bitter that the Rockets let him go because he knows he is unlikely to ever get such a talented roster for the rest of his coaching career.

Just take your money and enjoy your golf and coffee in Phoenix, McFail. Stay away from the Rockets. You poisoned this very group with your lack of coaching.

I will get over it once Howard decides to take the Max contract with another team but since he is still in H-Town I want him to do his best and take the team to the playoffs.

Dwight (and Smoove) are in complete beast mode each and every playoff game, he just has another gear. The great ones always do.

    That's all I care about.

I really don't get why the Rockets would show their cards and try and trade Dwight now. Dwight is not and has not been the problem. His play has been consistently good when healthy.

I don't think it's a bad quality for an athlete to get past the losses so long as they focus on the next game. Why sulk and keep losing?

The Rockets have managed nothing but probably turning Dwight off. He will just walk away after the season. (This is presuming that Dwight never asked for a trade to begin with....but who really knows?)

Harden needs to learn how to play with the other 4 players on the court. Too many games with him in an iso game. Dribble, Dribble, Dribble...whoops another turnover. Isn't this why Steve Francis didn't work here either?

I think Dwight cares a lot more than Harden, personally.

Nah, Dwight only cares what people THINK of him.....he is not a warrior who lives and dies by competition like Westbrook etc....he is just a guy who is big and plays basketball to support his lifestyle.

No McHale is old school. He would tell Harden to his face but never tell the media. I'm sure he told Harden in private to get his defense in gear. See Kyle Lowry waking up to the fact that McHale was in the right when he was in Houston and he just tuned him out because he was used to RA letting him coast. McHale has class and demanded they not disrespect the game and that is why most players loved him.

Facts are McHale deserved better. He did more with less every season he was here with the exception of the start of this season. He wasn't the best coach but he was better than I ever thought he'd be. All the crap about "try harder, clap clap" those comments don't understand the rosters he'd been given each season and the job he pulled off. Go back and study the history.

Hopefully the next coach will be the right one.

Soft, I want winners. I play to win in everything that I do. Relentlessness and resiliency, that's what I was taught from my father. To each his own, I guess.

Why do you have to sulk and think over a loss a whole night?

Shrug it off and off to the next game
