Same story, too many players, not enough minutes.

To be fair, it is only 1 game, but it seems McHale is reserving the 2nd quarter for the bench to get them some NBA playing time, and the other 3 quarters for the actual starters to try and win the game.

1 Freaking Game. We will have 65 more games left. We will see what happens.
Give him time to figure out his players. Short Training camp will hurt the new coaches.

The guy had 2 preseason games and little training camp. And half of that camp was done with a guy they didn't want to keep but had to because there weren't enough point guards.

How in the world can people expect McHale to have a set rotation at this time?

The problem was most of them were not wide open shots like last year, he was forced to DRIBBLE the ball and with JRich on him, that was a disaster waiting to happen.

Also, was Thabeet inactive for Flynn?

If that is the truth and you are going against Dwight Howard than the organization is dumber than I thought....

How long have we been saying that Leeb? Remember Morey last year saying it was a good thing to have so many quality players.....lol.

yeah, as assets, but not as playing winning basketball...8 and 1/2 is about what a normal rotation should be....good luck with keeping all those guys happy with that.

I am not sure we can keep an 8 1/2 rotation, this season. Our next games are back-to-back-to-back with no rest and the rest of the schedule doesn't get much easier with 2 back-to-back sets, next week, and another 2 back-to-back sets in the 3rd week. The starters are going to be gasping for air, if they get the regular 34-36 mpg.

    You can't make everyone happy.
You put them into categories...... starters, bench, rotation players and inactive players......

Wait a minute. Thabeet inactive for Flynn? Against Dwight Howard? Flynn didn't even play and Adrien only played 7 minutes or so! Thats really strange.

Thabeet isn't ready to play in the NBA yet.

He's still very raw. Can't even run and chew gum at the same time.

It was a bad decision to let Martin and Bud stink it up for as long as they did.
It was a bad decision to not have Thabeet in your lineup tonight.
It was a bad decision to not give Morris some playing time tonight.

Morris did play. He looked completely lost when he was on the floor.

I bet he could run a CF account w/o going rookie after 4k posts, though. What do you think?

I know it's only speculation...but hell, you're an expert. I'm curious if you agree.
