Mchale might not be calling plays on every possession but I have seen plenty of well designed plays executed by the rockets on a nightly basis.

We got bounced because we were out-coached and PLAYED NO DEFENSE!

And just to put to rest the all we do is iso bs.

In terms of percentage of a teams plays that are considered isolation plays Cleveland leads the league at 11.7% of all their plays being iso plays. The teams with the least iso plays by percentage are San Antonio and Detroit at 4.7%

The Rockets are 5th at 9.7% of all their plays being isolation plays.

    http://stats.nba.com/playtype/#!/isolation/?dir=1&PT=team&sort=Time

You can click the gear and switch to individual players just to get an idea of what other guys around the league are doing.

To me it seems that most the people here complaining about things The Rockets do, don't spend much time watching other teams and what they do.

good point, but i would say dmo's ability in the low post as well as d12's ability to just dunk all damn day sortve make up for the one offensive studded player..idk

also, our defense is working fairly well and that often enough is relied on calling plays on how to defend the other team... just another thought

He was a dominant elite offensive player last playoffs.

Last night he was also a dominant, elite offensive player.

I am unapologetic about this, but if you can score 18 pts in 20 minutes ALL on dunks, 5 of which are alley oops from 3 different people that just throw it up into an atmosphere only you exist in, then hell yeah you're a star offensive player.

What we saw last night couldn't be more encouraging. And he wasn't even conditioned yet!

We may be running simple plays, but as long as they're effective,we won't stop. The media can just suck it up.

We are also getting better as a team in reacting to Harden being double-, triple-teamed. Someone (usually a big) gets the pass from Harden and the big either attacks or passes to an open wing guy. Harden just needs to give up the ball early so we have enough time for ball movement.

SAS has to be one of the biggest morons on TV. His takes are consistently elementary. "Call plays"? Seriously? The guy's a buffoon.

Yeah, Bryant's covered, throw it to Shaq. Throw it to Pau. Throw it to Bynum. Phil's a damn genius.
