Both right now. And plenty of others. My list: Player wise... -Harden not playing like a superstar, or star, or even a decent bench player. He is looking like a hobo that Jones will stomp on once the series is over. -Howard not rebounding and defending the paint like he should -Parsons talking the talk but not walking the walk -Jones is just not ready yet. They are stealing his lunch money, lunch, and his underwear down in the post -Getting minimal to no production from Lin on offense who is supposed to be the 6th man Team wise.... -Terrible decisions on the court. -Absolutely useless bench -High school level defense or worse.... -high school level set offense or worse... -Terrible coaching (no adjustments, poor time management, lack of preparedness etc. etc.) -Bad attitude and body language on and off the court Thats a massive list. Depressing. This team needs to be taken to the laundry to clean the mess up.
anyone else feelin a loss? how did we go 3-1 against this team and now we are scrambling to change our lineup? disappoint
They made adjustments to defend Harden. It's worked so far. We need to make adjustments if we have any chance of winning this series.
I wont be surprised with a TT lineup, but I would love to see this lineup/rotation. Bev/Lin Harden/Daniels Hamilton/Garcia Parsons/Jones Howard/Asik Get LMA out of the paint area to like Dwight work and Harden to drive, get Hamilton for the athleticism and 3 ball just to shake things up and hope McHale goes deep in the bench for some sparks.
But the fact is that we almost won game 1, and that we were still in game 2 late. An extra rebound would have given us game 1. Cleaning up a few defensive rotation breakdowns and making a few more shots would have given us game 2. LMA is playing the best ball of his NBA career and Harden is MIA. That won't continue. The odds are against us, but we still have a shot.
Sadly the call where the NBA admitted that the foul was not on Howard was that "extra rebound" that we needed.
Granted this may be true but is doesn't change that from the past 2 games they have clearly been the better team. From an execution & coaching standpoint. We just need to play better.
We are down 0-2 and lost both home games against the Blazers in the first round. Not Miami, or Spurs, or OKC, or Clippers..... We might have squeezed out one win but at no point have the Rockets convincingly been the better team.
