I am saying that IF Asik was nice, THEN McHale was mean. Now tell me if that logic makes sense. If it does, tell me what is more believable: Asik being nice or Asik having bad attitude? Diss does not have to do with skill level. Are you saying that McHale was not dissing Asik's ATTITUDE? Was it a fact that Asik was trying to be the GM? If you told me, "You are not a lawyer." Okay, it's a fact that I am not a lawyer. But why would you even say that unless I was doing something to try to show that I was a lawyer?
I just hope both asik and dwight can average 26 boards between the two. how many fast breaks, oh my. no more manimals out rebounding our pFs.
disagree with Asik has a job he needs to do - FACT Mchale said Asik's job is to figure out how they can play together and be effective. ??? It should be Coach's job.or do I misunderstand what he said???
What would be exiting is if Asik returned to his defensive and rebounding efficiency of his Chicago back-up days, he had crazy defensive +/- numbers, win-shares etc and also per 36 minutes his blocks and steals were roughly double meaning he probably had to play conservatively last season given the minutes played (stamina, and to conserve fouls) and the lack of depth at center behind him. I'd like to see Asik go all-out for 22 minutes per game (roughly the mid-point in terms of minutes for his last two seasons), and Dwight to go all out for 34 minutes (only 8 minutes overlap, 4 minutes per half). That'll be pretty crazy. I'd hate to be a perimeter player trying to dribble penetrate to the rim against that defense for 48 minutes.
