And many of us had been saying that since before he was hired, it was Morey's WORST move as a GM to date - and it is costing this team big time. DD
debatable... I see both sides of the coin. Milkhair was part of the reason Dwight signed here. He got the team as far as they could possibly go before they ran into the GSW. Say what you want about his bball iq, but he had our guys motivated last year. I don't think any different coach that was willing to be here/available would've given us the edge to beat them in a 7 game series. We heard it too often, that any other season and James would've won the MVP. I honestly think, any other season, and the Rockets would've won the whole thing. Goldenstate has just been THAT good since the start of last season.
I really did like McHale but he was just not the person that was going to get us to the top. It's too bad we left his protégé to coach the rest of the season. Should hopefully be better next season.
Haha I can imagine. Even though he was incompetent, it must be tough to coach some guys with different agendas, no fundamentals etc.
Mchale was and is a better option than Bickerstaff. Maybe Bickerstaff can be a successful assistant but he isnt HC material.
Good keep this doofus out of coaching. Even a **** organization like Magic know he sucks in coaching. But triple chinned Maury not only hired this fool but went on to extend him. SMH. And now this bitter losr is taking passive aggressive jabs at the Rockets, Harden and Mike AntoniO
Did the Magic not see the job he did as the T'Wolves GM? Aside from the Garnett pick, it was about as impressive as his coaching.
I read the headline on ESPN as Magic Johnson wanting McHale. Now that would have made a comedy duo trying to run a franchise.
