34.8 FG% 31.8 3p% 19 T.O. Harden 40+pts Only difference is effort in defense and that is on the players.
For whatever reason, Ding seemed to like the Rockets more this year. Harden was his pick for MVP this season
You're missing the point. I don't think McHale is a great coach by any stretch. I think he is an average coach with some nice tenure. In this league, i believe that is worth something. Moreover, this has to do with the players, not the coach. That is why i think you see people not coming to the defense of McHale, but to question the mentality of this squad.
those guys who are happy when McHale got fired will want next Rockets coach get fired too. This losing situation is not caused by your coach.Just name your favorite coach, and see how long you will love him when your team is losing. Thibs? ask bulls fans, I mean those coach hater fans!
The nba media and fans are acting like what we did to mchale was as bad as the events this past weekend.. I just finally figured it out after a full day of hearing how it is a "mistake" that mchale is almost literally friends with everybody in the league. He seems like the nicest guy ever and gets along with everyone. Explains the reaction.
Finally!!! Morey grew conscience. Goodness grief, it's 2 years 2 long!!! Does anyone know any insider info if the players are unitedly bolting milkhair?
I watch the game but I put my palm on my face whenever he starts a post up play. Not to mention whenever he just look at the ball for rebound when it's not falling on his way.
Said it from the start, blame Mchale all ya want but he isn't the problem. You live with Harden you die with Harden!
McHale was A problem. I don't see how anyone could deny that given what we witnessed this season. The defense was non-existent. The rotations were a mess. The team looked unprepared and uninspired, especially against weaker opponents. There was no effort made to integrate Lawson into the offense. Harden was constantly allowed to dribble the clock out on ISO plays while his teammates stood around and watched. Now is a lot of this on the players? Of course. But it's also the coach's responsibility to correct this. Not only wasn't McHale calling timeouts to make adjustments within the game, he wasn't fixing these problems between games. Nothing was improving. If anything, it was getting worse. He may be a great guy, but he had to go.
