TJones is young and inconsistent so he has had some growing pains this first season in the league. That being said, I think he made a lot of strides in the D-League and he's playing awesome lately and I'd like to see him play more, possibly even get a chance to start.
So you saw last game against Denver... What are your thoughts as a coach if you see Tjones doing that out there? "Well at least we didn't have Carlos Delfino out there like McHale MIGHT HAVE." There are times Tjones will give us a much better chance to win, but you are too myopic to believe that he also gives us a better chance of losing at times as well. All I'm saying is that consistency is a prized tool in the kit of an NBA coach... Go listen to McHale's interview today if you're not smart enough to put it together by your lonesome. He literally corroborated every thing I said on this subject with that interview. Good day to you. I love how it's trolling now to believe that playing a veteran over an inconsistent rookie for 5-8 minutes a game is a good idea...
This thread. More like the staff should get credit. Mchale isnt the worst coach, but he isn't the best either.
No, i just think he shouldnt get credit for developing all of the players. Maybe one or two. The rest of the staff also works with the players as well.
