Nothing surprising in this article. Camby will get less than 10 mpg. With Dwight, Asik, and Smith we don't need him for more than that, if even that. He is here for presence and insurance. And he will be nice insurance if an Asik trade goes down at some point. I would be totally comfortable with a Dwight/Camby at the 5. (at this stage in the game I am trying to operate under the assumption that Asik is a goner at some point...)
i dig asik's heart, effort and contributions too much to refer to him as a "goner" or "expendable". yeah, i know it's a business. i would hate to see a talent like his traded, but as long as he is on this team you armchair gm's should show a little class and give him the respect he deserves.
