WOW... .5cm? I didn't know that. For all of you that are metrically impaired, that is 3/16". He should be back soon.
he wont be back soon. Even though its an easy procedure with small incisions, it still requires time for the new cartlidge to be built. He will be immoble for at least 2 months in a machine that moves his leg so the blood will flow through the small "microfractures" which is what creates the cartlidge
Glad the surgery went will for TMac. Good luck next year with your new team. The next time TMac will play will be next year 2010 and more than likely March. I hope the Rockets are able to get something this Summer for TMac.
how do you know all the specifics of tmac's surgery like how much cartilage was lost and what part of the knee it is?
Wish TMAc a speedy recovery. Hope he'll be back 100% soon and contribute to the team. Is there any chance he is ready for the playoffs this season? Anyway, I don't want him back too early if he is not 100% and aggravate his recovery.
that's good news to hear. i hope he recovers and i wish him the best of luck and good health in the future
Good riddance Tmac, real basketball cannot be played with this man on your team. Even Kobe, knows how to play in a high efficient triangle offense. Tmac, nice career, but you were never a winner
Ok, Im a bit ignorant when it comes to medicine and what is ok and what isn't. But at .5 cm that does not bear any weight, how is this hindering him so bad that he plays worse than a second round draft pick? Is this why the doc's do not think its necessary?
Because I can pretty much make a safe assumption based on the movements of his knee. Seriously though, the doctors have said it.
