    this is bull.

    stats for the season -
    rafer 11.7pts and 4.8 ast
    mcgrady 15.8pts and 4.8 ast

are you telling me rafer and mcgrady are only 4.1pts apart?

since when 7pts 10ast = good enough for a max player with 20+ mils per price tag?
10 ast = 20 pts? good math. why don't you take the team total ast, multiply it by 2, and then add it to the score total? that wtay, the rockets would be unbeatable and have a 82-0 season.

It would have to be a small guard capable of defending opposing PGs.

that- and only unassisted points counts towards a player's total ;)

i agree with you - there is no way you can just flatly equate an assist with 2 points.

Welcome aboard, it is why I want TMac and Brooks as our starting backcourt....Rafer,,,,.12-18 minutes as a backup.

I'd rather see him play 1 hard game and rest the next game, instead of play 2 soft games.

At least he tried to did what he could. He had 10 assists and at the few last minutes he wanted to draw foul to help keep the lead, although he lost the important free throws but you should know that he had played from the last minutes in the 3rd quarter to all the 4th quarter and totally 41 mins in the game. And then after the free throws he stole the ball from Bell, which was also an important defense that made the team not to fall behind.

The size of his contract is irrelevant at the moment. He is not the same player he was when he signed that contract.

I just love how people cry that he doesn't play then he goes out there doesn't turn the ball over and gets ten assists, yet still ****ing complain.

What Eric Snow said was correct and I have been saying that same thing since the off-season. We were never going to be playing like the Celtics, Cavs and Lakers have been at this stage of the season. Battier is getting stronger, T-Mac hopefully is on the right track and we re-signed Motumbo.

We have been inconsistant and unhealthy for the first two months of the season and are in a good position. There are only 9 teams in contention for the play-offs at the moment and the Laker's are far from invinsible.
Get healthy by the end of January and start to build some chemistry.

10 assists and 0 turnovers and people are still b****ing after a win? So you want the contested outside jumpers now? Seriously stfu already.

The logic seems to be that McGrady at 60-70% is still better than no McGrady at all. And according to reports, his being on court does not negatively affect his rehabilitation.

If this is the case, it looks like we fans will just have to endure these ugly games for a while.

Life's like that, everybody talked about his contested outside jumpers all the time and hated him the most when seeing him doin' that on the court.

Then, when he just scored under 10 points in a win, people started to wonder what the hell is goin' on with his mentality and his thoughts toward the game.I know he's tryna take the best of himself but look at his condition,oh man,he still dished out 10 assist on a bum knee.

So seriously, what more do you guys expect out of him?He started at SG position and bein' a facilitator for us.I have to say,he's doin' it all on the part of offensive end.I'm cool with that.

You don't pay 20 million dollars to a player that only creates offense for others.

You pay 20 million dollars to a player that creates offense for himself and for others.

He has the capability to be worth the 20 million dollars. Stop making excuses for him.

If he is trying to play injured, then cut him some slack. When Yao has a bad game does everyone complain and say he shouldnt be on this team and stuff of that nature? If Tmac hit a fwe game winners I bet yall wouldn't be saying nothing.

    Performance varies, contract does not.

Is he playing injured? He had surgery on his knee in the beginning of the offseason. And it wasn't microfracture or ACL surgery. When Yao choked on back to back performances, I complained. Why? Because he played like crap. Tracy has been horrible almost all the games this season. And if he hit a game winner against Wizards, I'd really don't care because we should have blown that team away. It's time for him to step up or sit out. Not mix it up.

What is that suppose to mean?

    Contract doesn't varies?

Are you saying Chuck Hayes, Joey Dorsey, Ron Artest, Rafer Alston, Von Wafer, and whoever makes the same amount as Tracy? Contract does varies. The higher you get paid, the better performance that I, the fans, the organization, the coach, and the owner expects.

If he had an excuse, then fine. But him just sitting out on random games is not going to cut it.
